This site has been compiled by Stephen Rogers. I hold a PhD from the University of Manchester, although not in archaeology, it has given me a set of research and thinking tools that I am trying to put to good use in this obsession with ceramic sherds! As a group we are continually learning more about the history of ceramics and hopefully this site will reflect that journey.
Please acknowledge Southwell Community Archaeology Group if you use any of this data or photos. I reference any authors whose work I use so please also cite these if you draw upon any citations on this site.
